I pay attention to SEO. That stands for search engine optimization and it sounds fancy but it simply describes the process by which search engines find your website and list it in search results. Minding your SEO is good for business. It’s also a damn fine way to procrasitinate when you don’t want to do actual work. Part of SEO is analyzing the search terms people use to find your website. I get a lot of fun stuff that is related to my work, stuff like “funny PTA stories” and ”funny books for moms.” And I get some random stuff, occasionally the unfortunate result of writing about big ass vegetables.
Once in a while, a search term seems to be divinely inspired.
Like this one:
“middle aged wife hotter now than before”
You can bet I’ll be optimizing that one.
